Informed Assessment Solutions, Inc. was founded by Elisa George, Ph.D. We assist small and mid-size organizations in establishing or improving their people management practices. Areas of focus include establishing better selection methods and planning for tomorrow’s successors.
Ms. George recently taught Leading Individuals and Teams, a core course offered within the MBA Program at the CU-Denver Business School. Topics included leadership, work teams, power and politics, communication, engagement and job satisfaction, among others.
Prior to establishing IAS, Inc., Ms. George worked as an Assessment Consultant with the Leadership and Talent Consulting Group within Korn/Ferry International.
Ms. George has also worked in adult distance education, having held the position of Director of Assessment with the College for Financial Planning. During her tenure, she worked closely with senior management and faculty to enhance various assessment-related practices. She also managed student and stakeholder surveys. She is committed to life-long learning.
Prior to her focus on workplace and educational assessment, Ms. George held senior roles in the financial sector for over 20 years, starting out in the residential mortgage industry and concluding by working on the securitization of commercial real estate loans. She greatly enjoyed the opportunity to work in the highly competitive and creative financial markets.
Ms. George holds a doctorate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University, a master’s degree in Economics from George Mason University, and a master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Wyoming.
Ms. George holds certifications in The Leadership Versatility Index™ (LVI), CCL’s 360-Degree Assessment Suite, and Hogan’s HPI, HDS, and MVPI.
